This tutorial will show you how to create a XRP-Ledger Based Wallet (also known as XRP wallet) with the Sologenic Dex Phone App.
Step 1:
Download the Sologenic Dex App from the App Store on your mobile device.
Step 2:
Open the Sologenic Dex App. Next press create a new wallet and select your preferred wallet name.
Step 3:
Next, write down your recovery words. These are the keys that enable the wallet to be activated on another device, so make sure to store them securely.
Step 4:
On the next screen, input your recovery words in the order they were given. This will confirm that you have recorded them correctly.
Step 5:
Finally, select your security method for confirming transactions through your wallet with your device. Congratulations, setting up your Solo wallet on the Sologenic Dex App is now complete.
The XRPLedger requires a reserve fee of 10 xrp on each wallet, and on top of that it requires 2 xrp for each trustline you add.
Your wallet will not be active until you hold 10 xrp, with other words. And if you want to hold a xrpl token (the solo token for example), then you need at least 12 xrp + 1 xrp for the future transaction fees.
You can only get a piece of those back if you delete your wallet, but that's for an other tutorial.
You can receive xrp without having an activated wallet. So all you need to do is to either buy xrp and have it sent to your wallet (your public address), or find someone to help you by sending you the necessary xrp.
